Spellings Linked to Little Wandle Phonics
Children in Key Stage 1 (and Reception later in the year) will bring home a set of spellings to learn each week. These words are a selection of the words they have been learning in their phonics lessons. Spellings will be brought home on a Tuesday and tested the following Tuesday. A sticker in your child's homework book will tell you which set they are working on. The dates below tell you when each set is brought home.
Spellings Autumn Term 2 2025
Tuesday 11th November - Set 1 sent home.
Tuesday 18th November - Set 1 revisited. Set 2 sent home.
Tuesday 25th November - Set 2 revisited. Set 3 sent home.
Tuesday 2nd December - Set 3 revisited. Set 4 sent home.
Tuesday 9th December - Set 4 revisited.
There will be no spellings set over the Christmas holiday or on the last week of term.
