Bawdsey Manor 2025
Day 3
What a brilliant final full day here at Bawdsey Manor. Once again, we have been blessed with the weather and had another glorious day.
We started the day with archery tag, which is a combination of archery and dodgeball with soft tipped arrows. We followed that up with climbing and we have some extremely quick climbers and some who conquered fears once again.
After lunch, we had Survivor, where we built shelters and some practiced their knife skills (making fire wood) and lighting fires using flint. Next was Jacob’s Ladder, which was another climbing activity.
Last but not least, we ended the day with a campfire, singing songs and having toasted marshmallows.
We’re all looking forward to coming home tomorrow, but not until we have done two more activities- rifle shooting and the zip wire.
Day 2
We’re coming to the end of our first full day! After an amazing thunderstorm overnight, we have had a busy day in the sun.
We started off this morning by shooting some arrows in archery. We played some fun games and learnt a great skill.
After that, we took on the giant swing! As you’ll see from some of the pictures, we had a great time and some overcame their fears. They should be so proud of themselves!
After lunch we had a fencing session, where we learnt the term ‘on guard.’ It was rather warm though.
Finally, we had a great time on the lake canoeing! The wind had picked up which made it a challenge, but we all had an amazing time paddling around.
It’s our last full day tomorrow, so look forward to pictures of climbing, survivor, archery tag and Jacob’s ladder.
Day 1
We arrived at Bawdsey Manor after a great journey in the sun. We started off by getting to know the site, with a walk around. Then we met our group leader and set off on a coastal walk.
Following this we went into our rooms and settled in. We had our dinner, which was delicious, then had our first evening activity. We travelled around the world in the game ‘Passport To The World.’
It’s been a busy first day but we’re excited for tomorrow!
