• URGENT- STRANGER INCIDENT

  Dear Parents and Carers,

   

  We have been alerted to a stranger incident, that took place earlier this morning. At approx. 8.40am a pupil from Roebuck Academy was scooting along the pavement on his way to school and was approached by an adult male and female in a dark coloured car. This was on Kimbolton Crescent. The man in the car, who was driving, asked the child to get into the car. The child said no and head back towards his mother. The car, with some speed, drove away towards the Hertford Road area.

   

  We ask that you are extra vigilant whilst travelling to and from school with your children. The incident has been reported to the local police.

• Black school shoes only to be worn

  Following the uiform check on Tuesday we have found that many children are wearing trainers and boots. The school uniform is for shoes only. Children may change into trainers for playtime.

   

  The school rule is that shoes are worn. Converse plimpsoles are not school shoes. After Easter which is 5 weeks away all chidlren are to wear shoes. Please do not purchase shoes that are not school uniform. 

• Golden Mile

  The children are still taking part in the golden mile at school. Please encourage your children to walk or jog as much as possible.

• Uniform Check

  Mon 19 Feb 2018

  School uniform checks will take place on Tuesday 20th Feb 2018. Please ensure your child wears the correct school uniform and continues to wear this in school. Black shoes only. No boots or trainers.
