'Tis the #WakeUpWednesday to be jolly! 🎅🏼🎄
With a tech-filled Christmas on the horizon, we thought parents might need a little help in keeping their children safe when using their new digital devices...
We're delighted to have once again teamed up with our teacher friends Dan and Sam from ‘Musicalternative’ to bring you this jolly online safety jingle for parents - for you to share with your whole school community!

Play Leader Training
Thu 21 Jun 2018On Wednesday, ten Year Fives travelled to Stevenage Leisure Centre to take part in training to become a Sports Ambassador for Shephalbury Park. This will involve the children being part of the lunchtime play leader team and helping the PE team to encourage participation in sport throughout the school. The team were excellent representatives of Shephalbury Park and had a fabulous time. Well done!
Here are some photos of the occasion.

World Cup Fever hits Shephalbury Park!
Tue 19 Jun 2018World Cup fever has hit Shephalbury Park! Not only are some classes keeping track of the score using a wall chart, but there are 8 teams taking part in a World Cup style tournament. They must have a range of players from each year group, making a team of 6. Over the course of the next two weeks, the teams will compete at lunch time until we have our World Champions!
Each day, there will be a short highlights video, with the scorelines from each match. Keep watching to find out who wins! This can be found in the children's menu, under World Cup 2018. Enjoy!

Burwell Update - Friday
Fri 15 Jun 2018Our final day has been action packed and thoroughly enjoyable. After waking and clearing up all our bedding and packing our bags we were able to enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a morning full of team challenges. Then after a few snacks we played a huge game of Burwell Fox which resulted in a lot of caught foxes! This led us to lunchtime where we had the biggest packed lunch ever before finally saying one last goodbye to the place where hopefully many fantastic memories have been made. Well done Years 3 & 4. We had fantastic comments from the staff and it has been a pleasure to lead you. -
Burwell Update - Thursday
Thu 14 Jun 2018Good evening from our second day at Burwell House. The day started early after an excitable evening where with full bellies we started our first carousel of activities. This included Pond Dipping, Batik art and the Burwell Challenge - which everybody completed! The food kept coming with a stunning roast lunch and then a second carousel of activities. This time we were firelighting, attempting sensory games and creating art using clay and nature.
Thankfully our jumbo fish fingers and chips dinner has filled us up again and after a nice playtime to burn off some of the energy the children are now showering before enjoying a relaxing DVD until bedtime.
It has been an excellent day, but here is what some of our children have said:
"It has been a very nice day and the food has been nice too!" - Cole
"I really enjoyed the art with Mrs Cropley. It's been an amazing day." - Annabell
