We are pleased to be able to offer our learners a wide range of activities and clubs throughout the academic year. We also offer wrap around provision with our Porridge Pot and Tea Pot. To find out more about these, please follow the link below.
Before and After School Club- Porridge Pot and Rising Stars
The aim of our extra-curricular provision is to provide affordable opportunities for all pupils. They can participate in a broad range of opportunities and activities. These are planned for, and reviewed. Our pupils in the school council help us to make these decision. Sometimes pupils start up clubs and organise them too.
Clubs on the table below are heavily subsidised to make activities accessible to all. We charge a nominal fee for some clubs at £1 - these are highlighted. External providers set their own fees.
If your child would like to attend, and you require financial assistance, please discuss this with us. We treat all such matters with confidence.
The Summer term club dates are:
Mon 20th Apr - Thursday 21st May, then Monday 1st June - Thurs 16th July.
The booking will be open Tuesday 14th April after 12pm, on the Arbor parent portal.
Payment will need to be made at the time of booking.

All clubs are for 1 hours and finish at 4.15pm unless otherwise stated

Visits and Trips
At Shephalbury Park Primary, the progression of our LEARNERS goes to the academic and beyond. The attributes of a Shephalbury LEARNER helps to prepare for a future that is not yet known. For jobs that have not yet been invented.
It is important that our LEARNERS experience progression beyond the national curriculum. As such, we have a planned progression of visits, trips and outside learning opportunities.
Learning beyond school is crucial because
it moves education from abstract knowledge to real-world application, developing vital life skills, boosting engagement and wellbeing, fostering creativity, and building resilience through hands-on experiences, making learning more relevant, memorable, and successful for life after formal education. It connects classroom concepts to reality, improving attainment and preparing individuals for an ever-changing world by nurturing problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability.

- NEW RELATIONSHIPS: Seeing teachers and peers in different lights and building stronger bonds.
In essence, learning beyond school transforms education from a passive reception of facts into an active, holistic process that prepares individuals for success in their personal, academic, and professional lives.
Some trips are free, and some are contributed to by families.
Pupils in receipt of the Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) are provided with financial assistance.
