Year 4 Autumn Term Curriculum Letter
Welcome to Year 4!
Happy September!
It is so lovely to be back in school. Bertie and Gertie the class tortoises are so pleased to be back after such along time away. They have settled back into their class routine of playing, eating and sleeping very well.
As it is the Autumn term, there are so many new things to remember; regularly washing of our hands throughout the day, bringing our water bottles to and from school daily, coming to school in our PE kit on a Friday, completing our weekly homework and of course the most important thing learning new things and having fun.
Year 4 are fortunate to have both myself, Mrs Spiller and Mrs Grizzell teaching them over the course of a week. If you need to contact me, the class teacher, regarding your child then please use the email address below, however in an emergency do continue to contact the school office who will pass the message on.

Welcome back for the Spring Term!
We hope you have enjoyed a lovely Christmas holiday! We are excited to be back, and we hope you are too!
Our topic this term is Stone Age to Iron Age. We will be comparing Stevenage and another locality in the UK, whilst learning how Britain changed from the Stone Age, to the Iron Age.
We are going to start the term off by reading The Boy Who Grew Dragons, by an author called Andy Shepherd. This will be the focus in English, and Guided Reading. We will also be holding another vote, to find our next book!
In Science we are learning about habitats and electricity!
Our PE days are still Mondays and Tuesdays. We will also be doing the Daily Mile regularly!
We look forward to lots of fun learning and enjoyment this term!
Mr Klein and Mrs Ramus
